Lisa Love is a DJ / DJ Instructor / Entertainment Promoter / Radio Show Host / Steal Proof Master Instructor
/Licensed English as a Second language Teacher and Physical Fitness and Nutrition Specialist.
Born and partially raised in Philadelphia (West Philly and Southwest Philly). She attended Bartram High
School and played on the Girls Basketball Team. Despite her trials and tribulations as a young teen, she
still would strive toward her dreams. With no stable home in Philadelphia, she moved to upstate New York
with an Aunt in Loch Sheldrake NY. She shined as a member of the Fallsburgh High School's girl's
basketball team. She lead her team to a sectional play-off. She received a full basketball scholarship to
Clarion University of PA. She graduated in 4 years with a BA Degree in Sociology/Psychology. After
graduation, she got a job as a Social Worker in a Nursing Home in Liberty NY and as a DJ part- time in Joe's
Bar. She, also, was the Head Women's Basketball Coach for Sullivan County Community College for one
year. She, later, worked for the county for about eleven months and moved on to work as a Recreation
Specialist for the Government. She has been teaching nutrition, health and wellness for about 20 years
now and has continued to DJ through it all.
She currently has her own radio show, the LivePod Radio Show. With local celebrities, you will be
entertained, uplifted and enlightened with the latest jams, hits from the past and some
as-yet-to-be-discovered flavor.
As a DJ, DJ Lisa Love has opened for the following recording artists between 2001 and current:

Penn, Laura Izibor, Tank, Mario, Kenny Lattimore, Faith Evans, Bilal, Black Sheep, India Arie, Tracey A,
Bunji, Vent, Rosie Bonds, LaQuen, Raw Beauty, T-Corbin, Damarco, Curt Chambers, Gordon Chambers,
Barbara Sheree, Jadakiss, and many more. . . She has been a part of John Barber III's Come Kleen
Productions, Ltd since 2001. She was the first female in Philadelphia to actually spin on a major radio
station (Power 99 Fm, WUSL) from 2001-2003. She spun on Tiffany Bacon's show called Inner City. She
also spun twice on Golden Girl's show.
She had a cameo appearance in the film, 'Scene Not Heard'.
She appeared in the Philadelphia Daily News, Feb 24, 2005 and the NJ Courier Post October 2007 and on
numerous online magazines and sites.
She owns and has operated the DJ school, More Than Music DJ Institute, LLC since August 2007. It is in
Philadelphia PA, with a chapter in Monticello NY.
